Product Overview

Straight forward no fuss
We bought this to replace a Kenwood American style fridge which had broken after less than 18 months.
Impressed with the specification for the price we opted for the Fridgemaster, and I'm pleased we did. This fridge is quieter than our previous fridge, with no noticeable motor noise, and the veg and salad draws are more generous in size.
I have so far had no problems or concerns and would suggest anyone looking should have this as an option regardless of budget.

It's a TARDIS!
After inheriting an integrated fridge freezer, that was too tall for me, when we moved into our house; I have longed for an American Fridge Freezer. The problem being our staircase prohibits the turning of anything large into our kitchen. This one had the perfect dimensions and still has plenty of space to feed us all, and brilliant features to boot. I can reach everything comfortably from top to bottom. I am so happy and so pleased.

Looks and efficiency
I bought the Fridge master nearly a year ago. I wanted something that looked good in the kitchen, economical to run, and a fridge freezer which I did not have to do too much bending down for. The water dispenser is great, it is a non plumb, simply refill every time the water level falls, and wash clean at the end of each month, it helps to keep the water fresh and gives it a pleasing taste.

Can't fault it
I needed a new fridge freezer and after doing research I found this one. I only have a small kitchen and this one has smaller dimensions which fits perfectly. It is like a TARDIS and has lots of space inside. I like to do a big shop every two weeks and have no problem fitting it all in. I like the fact both the fridge and freezer have a light. The freezer side has plenty of room. I was surprised at how much I could fit in. I find the door storage handy too. The fridge has 2 drawers and plenty of space with door shelves that hold big bottles of milk etc. The shelves are very easy to clean. I wasn't looking for a water dispenser but it has been a great bonus in the hot weather. It is very quiet. Most of the time you don't hear it at all. The controls are easy to use with the panel lighting up to tell you information. I haven't found anything I don't like about it.

Great space inside!
I've had this type of American/side-by-side appliance before but this one is the tops for interior space, everything on view and not moving stuff around to see what's lurking at the back of the middle shelf! The drawers seem huge by comparison to other makes I've had. The only downside is Fridgemaster's after sales service. Two days after installation the interior fridge light failed and I have to say that the Customer service I got from their 0191 number was abominable. I went back to ao
from whom I bought the appliance and they sorted it out, but the service technician was sent the wrong part, then the right part failed again and - wait for it - almost a month later the right part was fitted and I now have a perfect, functioning, (and huge) side by side fridge freezer which I love (but shame about the backup Fridgemaster - you could learn a lot from the ao team)

Super spacious and frostfree
I bought this when my old fridge freezer died. I’m really impressed. Loads of room for everything and the drawers are on wheels making them really easy to pull out even when full. The only negative is that if you close the fridge door too hard ( ie slam it like my children do!) the freezer door sometimes pops open. Merely a training issue on my part but worth flagging up. Overall, I’m thrilled with it!

Looks good
Love the inside lots of space and runs great but don’t go for the black if you can’t stand finger marks it has hidden handles and it’s quite stiff to open so you end up putting your hand on the other door to give more power and also the whole thing moves forward if on laminate. Was told it will get better over time which 3 months later it still moves but not as bad. All in all a nice fridge freezer

Just taken delivery and delighted with product. The doors feel really sturdy not what I expected given the price. This is a fabulous Fridge/Freezer for the price, the colour is not quite black like the other appliances in the kitchen, but it is a very dark charcoal and it still looks great. Keeping my fingers crossed that the product will last passed its 12 month warranty, but so far so good.

Looks amazing and holds more than you think
Bought this a month ago and came following day which saved my freezer food which was a huge help. Really holds loads more than i thought and has digital display to keep an eye on temperature. Looks awesome and not too bulky either. Really good price for what we had. Thanks for swift delivery on such a fantastic side by side fridge freezer. One of my best purchases by far. Great cheap fridge!
Originally I was looking at buying an american fridge freezer that was plumb but they proved too costly after spending all my funds on my new house. I saw this product and i thought for the price, its worth a shot. It is FANTASTIC! It looks so modern and sleek, everyone who visits comments on it. There's loads of shelves and plenty of space to store. It keeps everything fresh for ages. The water dispenser is brilliant and holds about 3.5 litres (although the positioning is a bit fiddly to fill up with a jug). I like how it has no handles and looks really modern. Its also super quiet and i can never hear it ticking over. I was worried about there not being an ice dispenser but i was pleasantly surprised when it arrive and I opened it up and discovered an ice tray with an ice storage box underneath! really handy!!
The only downside is the black finish shows all of the finger prints on the edges.

Sleek and looks great in the kitchen
Waded through loads of Fridge Freezer options until we were utterly bamboozled, ordered from another company and received damaged good TWICE, abandoned that idea and saw this model. Has all the space we need, and works well. Silent operation and handy warning tone when the door is left open too long. Only downside and hence 4 stars out of 5 is the front scratches very easily.

Great Product for Great Price
I am very pleased with the Fridgemaster American style fridge and well worth the cost however the one draw back has ben the very poor after service from Fridgemaster when I took delivery of the Fridge Freezer a freezer compartment shelf had shattered to get a replacement was a nightmare even with the help off AOL so buyers beware good product lousy aftercare.

Well constructed and spevified
I had to replace a 15 year old Samsung American style fridge/freezer. I had no knowledge of Fridgemaster ad a manufacturer but the online reviews were reassuring. I have since found that the quality of build, overall design and specification fully met my requirements. The unit is reasonably priced fit the features offered. Very satisfied so far.

Good value, spacious
Happy with the space of my new fridge and seems to be performing well so far. But beware there is a design fault with some water dispensers. Mine did not work properly at all and it took 2 attempts from engineers, and lots of calls to the very unhelpful staff at fridgemaster call center to rectify. A headache I could of done without!

love the look and size
I bought this to replace a samsung very similar in look and size to my fridgemaster. So glad I did, Although it is early days I am pleased with the layout of the fridge and freezer, both give plenty of space for a big shop. Love the water dispenser, hope it will encourage the whole family to drink more water. An excellent buy.

Easily scratches
My fridge freezer has been left with marks that was from the polystyrene that was on it when delivered and I have cleaned it and still visible, I use a wet microfiber cloth and a dry cloth to clean it and it's scratches from these which shouldn't happen, I would never buy this item ever again, money down the drain

Freezer problems
I bought this fridge freezer about just over a year ago. The freezer now needs to be defrosted every 2 weeks as the freezing level drops regularly & food becomes inedible. I have lost a lot of product at great expense. As it is just out of guarantee, I have no comeback. Very disappointed .Would never buy again.

Fell in love with the look and price of this one read the reviews all good the only think I would say it the water thing you push feels like it could break but still I would 110% recommend ... I gave 4 stars only because if I gave 5 they would have nothing to achieve to but worth 5 stars .

Great fridge
For the price this fridge is excellent. The only small issue is that you have to ensure that you check the freezer door is closed when you close the fridge, as sometimes the suction of closing the fridge opens the freezer door slightly. Not a problem once you’re aware.

Sturdy well designed fridge
We are very lucky to get the fridgemaster as a replacement. Great features eg with it being Matt black very easy to clean!! Another great feat is that it’s on castersa huge improvement on previous as it’s easy to move about. Will be our replaceykf choice in the future

Great fetures.
I am happy with the product but I have 1 issue. Both outer sides of the Fridgemaster are always hot. I have another American Fridge/Freezer, which I bought over 12 years ago and
both the sides are cool. Please let me know whether this is technical issue or what.

A great unit
I bought this as a panic but it has proved a brilliant purchase. The internal layout is great but the best thing for me that I didn’t appreciate at the time was the lack of handles. I have restricted space so not having projecting handles is great.

Huge Fridge
I bought this because I was fed up of a packed fridge and freezer which never seemed to have enough room especially at Christmas. it surpassed my expectations and it’s especially nice to be able to get a nice cold drink of water from the dispenser.

The freezer is spacious with shelves and drawers for storage. There is also extra storage in the door.
