GREAT MEDIUM SIZED CHEST FREEZER
Our old Carvelle chest freezer finally expired in February after near-faultless service for 47 years. Yes, 47 years. We bought the MCF297 as a like-for-like replacement and, so far, are delighted with its performance. It was easy to set up and it has been quietly working away for the past few weeks. Our only criticism is that it in order to maximise the ease with which you can access your frozen items, we will need to buy at least a couple of extra top-loading baskets - only one is supplied as a standard accessory. Apart from that, if we get 10 or more years out of this replacement chest freezer we'll continue to be delighted. Fingers crossed.

Excellent value for money!
Bought to replace a LEC that died after 20 years of constant use! Only cost £20 more which was amazing. Good space inside. Easy to set up and light to move. Also on wheels which meant easy to move over garage floor. Could have done with extra baskets for storage and additional ones were 15% of freezer cost on eBay! Whilst the manoeuvrability is great, until we had a lot of food in it it moved every time I opened the lid which was a pain. Easily solved by putting in some battens on the garage floor to stop the wheels moving. Overall very happy with purchase.

Nice finish, very smooth running.
I purchased this freezer to replace my old one and I am very pleased so far with its performance. It is so spacious inside and has a nice deep area along with a shelf to store items handily.
It has very little noise during operation and the LED light is a very useful feature. Food is quick to freeze and easy to find with the storage basket provided.
With the cost of fuel increasing it is important to have as many efficient appliances as possible and I hope that this appliance will save me money in running costs in the long run.

Great but needs brakes.
Loving this freezer, would love it more if it had brakes. When half full or more it's pretty stable but, it slides all over the place when empty or less full. The wheels are a brilliant feature, however, the flip side is the constant movement. People, wheels needs brakes! Little issue is the freezer basket, advertised as 2, you get only 1. Really comes across as a waste of valuable space, especially for those items you would like to access frequently instead of burrowing under bags and trays of frozen foodstuffs.

Don't have one from
Fridgemaster freezer
I bought this about a month ago. I must say I'm very pleased with this purchase. It's very roomy and very quiet. Fits into the same space where my old one did. Not very expensive either. Looks very stylish

Good replacement
Bought a couple of months ago, really pleased with the unit , the only disappointment was only having one basket - thought I was getting 2 but managed to get hold of one, other than that ideal for purpose

Nice little freezer.
Happy with the space in this freezer although has 2 negative points.
It would be better if it had come with 2 baskets instead of 1, I have had a to order a second basket from Fridgmaster which cost an extra £30, and has not arrived yet.
Also it is a light freezer on casters, which is good but if you lean against it whilst delving to the bottom it moves and bangs against the wall, which I find very annoying. I would like the wheels to lock.
